Welcome to our Club. We are based at Backwell Leisure Centre, in the county of North Somerset about 12 km from the centre of Bristol.
To provide a safe and friendly environment for all age groups of swimmers.
To provide the opportunity for all levels of swimmer to progress to achieve their desired goals.
To encourage our swimmers to compete in Galas, from the very small local "friendlies" to the larger sponsored tournaments, backed by companies such as Speedo.
The Club was formed in 1974 and has approximately 100 members, with ages ranging from 5 to 19 years. The pool at Backwell Leisure Centre serves a large surrounding area, including Nailsea, Long Ashton, Cleeve, Claverham and Yatton. We have members from many of these areas and also some who come from as far as Weston-Super-Mare. For information on our Rules follow this link ....
We would welcome you to come and see our facilities at any time during one of the Club training sessions. The is always a member of the Club Committee or coaching staff on site who would be pleased to answer any questions which you may have.
